Features

What HEIC to PDF Converter gives you

  • Opens where HEIC does not

The PDF works in Windows, Android, office suites and upload forms that reject HEIC files, so you do not have to change your iPhone camera settings or email the photos to yourself first.

  • Many photos, one document

Add every shot of a multi-page document at once. Each photo becomes a page in the order you added them, so the letter, form or receipt bundle arrives as a single PDF.

  • Page size, margins and orientation

Put each photo on A4 or Letter with no margin or a 10, 20 or 30 mm margin, or make each page the shape of its photo. Auto orientation turns the page to match landscape shots.

What does HEIC to PDF Converter do?

HEIC is the space-saving photo format iPhones and iPads use by default, and many Windows PCs, office apps and application portals cannot open it. The tool decodes each HEIC or HEIF image, re-saves it as a high-quality JPEG picture and fits it, centred and uncropped, on an A4 or Letter page inside the margin you pick, or on a page the shape of the photo. Photos go into one PDF, or one PDF each.

iPhones and iPads save photos as HEIC by default because the files are smaller than a JPG of similar quality. The catch is support: many Windows PCs, older office apps and most government and exam portals cannot open HEIC at all, and some upload forms reject it outright. Converting the photos to PDF gives you one format that every device and portal accepts. The HEIC to PDF Converter page leads to the same tool.

Each photo is fitted whole inside the page, so a document photographed at an angle or with a dark table around it will look that way on the page. Crop the photo on your phone first for a tidier result, and use Rotate PDF if a page comes out sideways. The finished PDF is often several megabytes, so run it through Compress PDF before uploading it to a portal with a size limit.

Photos already saved as JPG or PNG belong in JPG to PDF or PNG to PDF. To join the new PDF with other documents, open Merge PDF. If you need the pages scanned to text, run OCR PDF on the result.

Smaller batches of photos are converted in your browser. Larger ones use an encrypted upload to our servers, are processed automatically with no one viewing the photos, and are deleted within 2 hours. The tool is free for personal use and needs no account.

Small files stay on your device.

Bigger files use an encrypted upload.

  • No account, no sign-up
  • Larger files go over HTTPS and are deleted automatically within 2 hours
  • Never sold, never viewed by a person

Questions about HEIC to PDF Converter

What is a HEIC file?

HEIC, also called HEIF, is the photo format Apple devices use by default since iOS 11. It stores good-quality photos in small files, but many Windows PCs, apps and websites cannot open it.

Can I combine several HEIC photos into one PDF?

Yes, that is the default. Add all the photos in one task and they go into a single PDF named heic-images.pdf, one photo per page, in the order you added them. Turn Combine off for one PDF per photo.

Will my photos be cropped or squashed?

No. Each photo is scaled to fit inside the page and margins, keeping its proportions. Pick Match image dimensions for pages the shape of the photo, or crop on your phone first to remove the background.

Why does the PDF have a large file size?

Phone photos have many pixels, and the PDF keeps them at full size for sharp printing. If a portal needs a smaller file, run the PDF through Compress PDF and pick a target size.

Can I convert HEIC to PDF on Windows without extra software?

Yes. The conversion runs in a web page, so a Windows PC only needs a browser. You do not have to install HEIC codecs or photo apps to open the files first.

Is HEIC to PDF free and private?

It is free for personal use, with no account. Small batches never need to reach our servers; anything that does is sent over an encrypted upload and deleted within 2 hours.

Is my file private and secure?

Yes. HEIC to PDF Converter runs on your phone or computer, so your file usually stays there. Only a file too big to handle on your device goes to our servers: it travels over HTTPS, is stored encrypted, is processed by machines with no person looking at it, and is deleted automatically within 2 hours. Siliph never sells your files. How we protect your files
