Loading the ODS to PDF workspace… Files are processed securely and deleted automatically.
ODS to PDF converts an OpenDocument spreadsheet from LibreOffice Calc or OpenOffice into a PDF. Each visible sheet is laid out with the page setup saved in the file, so print ranges, orientation and scaling carry over. It is free, needs no account, takes files up to 200 MB and deletes them within 2 hours.
Step by step
Drag the .ods spreadsheet into the drop zone or click Choose an ODS file. One spreadsheet is converted per task, together with all of its visible sheets.
There are no settings to fill in. The file is opened in LibreOffice and exported sheet by sheet, and a progress bar shows each stage of the conversion.
Click Download to save the PDF. It keeps the name of the spreadsheet, so budget.ods becomes budget.pdf, ready to attach, print or upload.
Features
Every visible sheet in the workbook is exported in tab order, so a file with a summary sheet and monthly sheets becomes one PDF you can page through from start to end.
Paper size, orientation, margins, headers, footers, scaling and print ranges set in Calc under Format, Page Style are used for the PDF, so you control the layout before you upload.
Cells with formulas show their results, the way they look on screen. Readers see the numbers without needing a spreadsheet app and without seeing how they were worked out.
The converter opens the spreadsheet in LibreOffice and exports it to PDF. Sheets are laid out with the page styles saved in the file: paper size, orientation, margins, headers, scaling and any print ranges. Cells with formulas show their results, as they do on screen. One ODS file is converted per task.
Spreadsheets are awkward to share as they are. The person on the other end may not have LibreOffice, Excel can shift column widths when it imports ODS, and a phone may refuse the file entirely. A PDF freezes the sheets as pages, so totals, borders and number formats look the same wherever the file is opened.
Most layout problems come from the page setup rather than the converter. A wide sheet without scaling spills onto extra pages column by column. Before uploading, set the sheet to fit the page width in Calc under Format, Page Style, Sheet, or define a print range so only the cells you need appear. Hidden sheets and hidden rows stay out of the PDF.
Each task converts one ODS file; combine several exported spreadsheets with Merge PDF, and make a large workbook lighter with Compress PDF. Workbooks saved as XLSX go through Excel to PDF, and text documents from LibreOffice Writer through ODT to PDF. Slides made in Impress are handled by ODP to PDF.
ODS to PDF is processed on our servers. The spreadsheet is converted automatically with no one looking at it, and the ODS file and the PDF are deleted from our servers within 2 hours. You do not need an account and can convert as many spreadsheets as you like.

Every visible sheet is exported in the order of the tabs, one after another in the same PDF. Hidden sheets are skipped, so hide any sheet you do not want to share before uploading.
The sheet is wider or longer than the paper set in its page style. In Calc, open Format, Page Style, Sheet and choose to fit the printout to the page width, or set a print range, then save and convert again.
No. The PDF shows the results of formulas as they appear in the sheet, not the formulas themselves. Readers see the numbers without being able to edit or inspect the calculations.
Each task converts one spreadsheet. Convert the files one after another, then use Merge PDF to combine the PDFs into a single document if you need them together.
