Flip PDF mirrors the pages of a PDF. Left to right gives a mirror image, the way iron-on transfers and some screen printing need it, and Top to bottom turns content upside down across its middle. Flip every page or a range you type. It runs in your browser, free and with no account.
Step by step
Drag one or more PDFs into the drop zone or click Choose PDF files. Each file is flipped separately and comes back as its own download.
Under Flip direction choose Left to right for a mirror image, or Top to bottom to reverse the page from head to foot.
Leave Page range empty to flip every page, or type pages and ranges such as 1-3, 5 to flip only those. The other pages stay as they are.
Start the task and download the result, named after your file with -flipped at the end. Print it at 100 percent scale for transfers.
Features
Left to right reverses each page like a reflection, which is what transfer paper and reverse-printed films expect. Top to bottom reverses the page from head to foot instead.
Type a range such as 2, 4-6 to flip those pages and leave the rest untouched, which helps when a document mixes normal pages with a design meant for transfer.
The flip is a transform on the existing page content, not a re-render, so text and vector graphics stay sharp and the page keeps its size and margins.
Flipping applies a mirror transform to each chosen page, so text, images and drawings are reversed inside the same page box rather than redrawn. The page size and position stay the same. If a page is displayed rotated, the tool swaps the axes so the flip you see matches the direction you picked. Links and annotations are left where they were and are not mirrored. Each file is saved as a copy ending in -flipped.pdf.
Mirror images are a printing need more than a reading one. Iron-on transfer paper, sublimation blanks and window films are printed back to front so the design reads correctly once it is pressed or stuck down. Flip PDF does that reversal on the PDF itself, so the file you send to the printer is already mirrored and you do not have to look for a mirror setting in the printer driver.
Choose Left to right for a mirror, or Top to bottom when a page has to be reversed from head to foot. Note that a flip is not a turn: to stand a sideways or upside-down page upright without mirroring it, use Rotate PDF. Pages that are already displayed rotated are handled, so the flip you get matches what you see on screen.
A Page range limits the flip to some pages, for example the transfer design in the middle of an order sheet. To produce just the mirrored pages as a separate file, flip them and then pull them out with Extract Pages. For a design that came in as an image, convert it first with JPG to PDF and then flip it here.

Rotate turns a page by 90 or 180 degrees, so text still reads normally. Flip mirrors the page, so text reads backwards. Use Rotate PDF to straighten pages and Flip PDF to make a mirror image.
